Jewelry Painting with Kelly Driver from Love from Lowcountry October 22nd & 27th 5:30pm
Join us at the Candlefish Makers Market for a one-of-a-kind ring making experience with Kelly from Love from Lowcountry! In this guided 2.5 hour workshop, you’ll design and hand paint a ring that’s uniquely yours — no experience needed.
Each guest will receive a signature Love from Lowcountry ring to customize with their own design, along with step-by-step instruction and creative support throughout the class.
BYOB, have a fun, relaxed night out while you create your dream ring!
At the end of the workshop, your piece will be professionally sealed, leaving you with a ready-to-wear keepsake you’ll treasure for years to come. Rings are adjustable, waterproof and tarnish resistant. Ring designs available will vary week to week, most of ring designs are gold with a handful of silver designs!
Class structure and timing: From 5:30-7ish pm Kelly will guide you through painting your rings. Around 7pm Kelly will begin to seal the finished rings. If you finish painting your ring early, you can take a break and explore King street! Circle back to pick your ring up at the makers market before 8pm. You can also pick the ring up after 12pm the next day if you need to leave before Kelly completes the sealing process.
If you aren’t able to finish painting your ring before 7:30pm, Kelly can work with you on finishing your ring and having it available to pick up at the makers market later that week.

Workshop Policies
- Register in advance to guarantee your seats

- Capacity: 11 people
- Cancellation Policy – Full refund up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled class. If you need to cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled workshop, you can reschedule your workshop via the confirmation email, or contact the store for a credit.
Workshop Details
1) Age limitations
Unless otherwise indicated, workshops at Candlefish are designed for adults ages 15 and older. Because our candle workshops are BYOB, involve high temperatures, and are intended for adults, we aim to create an adult friendly atmosphere.
2) Punctuality
We get it, things happen and you run late from time to time. Although we won’t give you a tardy slip for being late to class, please be aware that classes start promptly at the designated time.
If you are going to be late*, please call the shop ahead of time and let us know, otherwise we may begin the class without you and we don’t want to do that!
*If you or any members of your group are going to be over 15 minutes late, we ask that you reschedule for a later date to allow us a chance to book your open seats. You can easily reschedule your class via your confirmation email prior to the class start time.
Sessions typically run for 1 hour.
3) Cancellation Policy
For cancellations made at least 48 hours (two days) in advance, simply use the prompts within your workshop confirmation email to either reschedule your workshop or go through with a refund.
For cancellations made less than 48 hours (two days) in advance: You can either reschedule your workshop from within your confirmation email, or contact the store for a Gift card/class credit issued in the amount of class fee.
4) Changing Class Dates
In the event that something comes up and you need to change your class registration, you can easily reschedule your class via your confirmation email prior to the class start time.
5) Candle Pick-Up
The candles you make in class will cure overnight at Candlefish, and are ready to be picked up the day following your workshop. Candlefish will babysit your candles for one week following your candle class, so please make arrangements to pick up before the end of the week!
6) Getting to Your Workshop
Boston: We are located between the Copley and Arlington stops on the Green line on the T. There are also several parking garages near our store, and of course street parking is available. And remember - street parking is free on Sundays and Holidays!
Charleston: There are 2 parking garages centrally located to our store at 270 King St. The first and closest garage is 69 Wentworth St, and the second parking garage is at 85 Hasell St, or more known as The Charleston Place Hotel, which is about a 5-8 minute walk to our store! There is also street parking throughout the downtown area. All of these options have hourly parking rates, and on Sundays, all street parking is free.
